Science Overview

The New Brunswick Science curriculum connects with digital and media literacy through attitudes "that support the responsible acquisition and application of scientific and technological knowledge to the mutual benefit of self, society and the environment." Relevant expectations are found in the attitudes of Appreciation of Science, Interest in Science, and Scientific Inquiry.

Digital literacy workshops made available to all libraries across Quebec

Ottawa (May 25, 2015) – MediaSmarts, a leading Canadian centre for digital and media literacy, is pleased to announce that all public libraries in Quebec now have free access to its licensed digital literacy program, Web Awareness Workshop Series.

MediaSmarts provides digital literacy workshops to libraries in New Brunswick and Manitoba

Ottawa (July 5, 2016) – MediaSmarts, a leading Canadian centre for digital and media literacy, is pleased to announce that francophone libraries in New Brunswick and Manitoba now have free access to its licensed digital literacy program, Web Awareness Workshop Series. This follows a similar partnership with Quebec libraries that launched in May 2015.
