Passport to the Internet - Technical Requirements

Passport to the Internet requires the following minimum hardware and software:

Teachers will need to have a working e-mail account to use Passport to the Internet in a classroom setting. It is suggested that teachers create a new e-mail account for this purpose, either through their school board e-mail system or using a web-mail service such as Hotmail or Gmail.

  • 1024 x 768 Display

Minimum requirements:

  • Windows 98 or later
  • Flash Player 9
  • Internet Browser that supports Flash Player 9 (Firefox 1.3 or higher, Internet Explorer 6 or higher, Opera 9 or higher, Google Chrome 0.2 or higher, Safari 3 or higher.). If you require an updated version of Flash player, you may download it from https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
