News Journalism: Definitions and Comments about the News - Lesson

In this lesson, students debate the question “what is news?” and analyze and assess their own personal news sources.
Students will demonstrate:
- an understanding about what constitutes “news”
- an awareness of the multiple sources of news
- an awareness of their own news sources
